It's About Jesus

Calvary Tabernacle is a place that offers hope, restoration, and healing to all in Cumberland County and beyond. We are a church with a rich heritage built on loving God and loving people while standing on the fundamental belief of the Bible, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32) Truth is what we offer as a beacon of hope to our community.

The reason we are so confident in our belief of the truth is that each one of us in our church family have experienced firsthand the freedom that truth offers. There is freedom from drugs, alcohol, guilt, shame, and a myriad of other weaknesses through the delivering power of the truth. We have not only experienced deliverance from weaknesses, but also healing from within through the power of truth. We believe that everyone who knows the truth can be free – physically, emotionally, and spiritually!

You may ask, “What is the truth?” Truth is not a religious belief system. Truth is a person! Jesus! John 14:6 says, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.” We have found Him to be the answer to all our needs, and we believe that He can be the answer to all your needs! We invite you to come and experience the truth for yourself.

Calvary Tabernacle is truly “A Place to Belong”! We have not only found an answer to our needs, but we have found a family to whom we belong - a family who welcomes everyone regardless of background, culture, age, or experience. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this great community of believers and to find a place to belong!
